The team is back from Gen Con and settling in, but we're still riding the wave of energy and excitement from Sorcery's incredible reception.

What Was It Like for the Sorcery Team?

We didn't know what to expect, but as soon as folks started lining up at our booth on Thursday morning, we realized this event would be much, much bigger than we could have imagined!

Despite our one-per-person limit we quickly sold out of product, but the continuous lines of folks stopping by the booth to say hi and explore our display for our next set Arthurian Legends, launching October 4th, was incredible.

Meeting so many of you in person was truly an honor, and we're deeply grateful to Sorcery artist Melissa Benson for joining us on short notice. Suffice it to say, we had a lot of fun!

Gameplay Events

It wasn't just the booth that had a strong showing! With dedicated and experienced event organizer Ira Fay at the helm, our sold-out gameplay and learn-to-play events at Lucas Oil Stadium ran smoothly, bringing together players from across the United States, Canada, and even as far away as France and Japan!

None of this would have been possible without our volunteer team who showed the 70,000 Gen Con attendees what the Sorcery community is all about. We received countless comments on how passionate and welcoming our event space was and we are overwhelmed and humbled by the volunteer team's support of Sorcery. Thank you for all you do, and have done. We can't wait to share what's in store with Arthurian Legends!

Gen Con's competitive Sorcery play culminated in a 64-person constructed event, featuring a nail-biting duel between the Geomancer and the Seer. Gen Con 2023 finalist Adam Ray, and March of Mortals champion, once again found himself in the finals. This time, he faced off against Jake, a dark horse competitor who throughout the day summarily defeated his opponents on his quest to claim the ultimate title of Gen Con Champion. Will the grizzled Sorcery veteran or the mysterious newcomer claim the title of Gen Con champion?

Who won Gen Con '24? Find Out!

Thanks to the support of Drew from On the Play, who helped run media and assisted with the Sorcery booth throughout the event, we present to you the Gen Con finals match between Adam and Jake, with expert commentary from Sorcery's own Jesse Meulman-Marshall.

Enjoy our coverage of the finals and join us in the video comments to give a hearty congratulations to both Adam and Jake for their hard work and sportsmanship throughout the event!
