Whether you’re discovering Sorcery for the first time or returning to test your skills, SCG CON offers a path for you. From Learn-to-Play sessions to Community and Champion events, every experience is a chance to forge memories, earn rewards, and share in the community that makes Sorcery truly unique.

Each SCG CON weekend features eight Sorcery events: six Community and two Champion events, offering something for every type of player.

 are designed to be welcoming and accessible. These include Learn-to-Play sessions, Preconstructed battles using the Beta Precon decks, and Sealed events that let players jump straight into the action without needing to bring a deck. They are the perfect way to experience the realm at your own pace, while still earning rewards and joining the broader community.

are for players ready to test their mastery at the higher level of play. These tournaments challenge deckbuilders in both Limited and Constructed formats, where refined strategies are put to the test and greater rewards await those who prevail. The Saturday constructed champion events will be a Crossroads event, featuring exciting 

The schedule is designed to allow players to participate in multiple experiences across the weekend. Learn, explore, and choose your path through the realm. Whether you want to try every event type or focus on one, SCG CON offers a balanced journey through Sorcery organized play.

Players participating in our signature Organized Play Crossroads events are required to submit a decklist prior to the start of the event. Star City Games will provide deck submission forms onsite, and these must be completed before your Round 1 matchup begins.

If you’d prefer to fill out your list ahead of time, you can print the

To celebrate the countdown to Gen Con and the launch of 

we’re revealing the art for Adtonitum, a high speed force of raw elemental energy, capable of shattering the sound barrier and soaring into the stratosphere.

“In the Dragonlord universe,” explains artist Ed Beard Jr., “The Dragonlord created Adtonitum using both organic and advanced cybergenetic metallic materials.” Designed to channel massive arcs of lightning into the skies above the Dragonlord’s lair, her kind is necessary to channel the vast amount of electrical energy used in the Dragonlord's birthing chamber as depicted, in the Cradle of Etherrum.

“She was the first of her kind,” shares Beard. “As an outlier due to her biological makeup, she and her kind were not immediately embraced… until the Dragonlord perfected both organic and metallic infusion.”

Unlike Beard’s gnarlier dragons like Ignis Rex

 Adtonitum is rendered with “tapered, slender, more feminine lines and structure,” Beard notes. I also wanted to present a color palette that was unique and rarely seen - showing the blood reds, metallic silver-blue cyan, and intense purple.” Her pose and presence pay subtle homage to “my son’s generation of the early 2010s - a cross between comics and fantasy art.”

Like all of Beard’s dragons, Adtonitum is crafted using traditional airbrush methods and brush techniques - pure, physical artistry.

“Made by hand,” Beard says, “is the same category of meaning that signals ‘craftsmanship’ and the production of a one-of-a-kind hand painted tangible original artwork… created the ‘hard way.’
