Erik’s Curiosa is thrilled to be debuting Arthurian Legends, the upcoming set for Sorcery: Contested Realm, at Spiel Essen, October 3-6.
As if debuting Sorcery’s highly anticipated next set at the largest board gaming convention on the planet wasn’t enough, we’ve partnered with the White Rabit Community Game Store in Essen to provide an experience above and beyond that of even the Spiel convention itself!
Experience Arthurian Legends with Creator Erik Olofsson and Special Guests
We are excited to announce that attendees to Spiel Essen will be able to experience exclusive off-site events for Sorcery fans. Thanks to our collaboration with the White Rabbit Community Game Store, sorcerers will have the opportunity to meet and play games with Sorcery: Contested Realm game-creator Erik Olofsson, as well as members of the Erik’s Curiosa staff, Sorcery artists, and content creators - all in the welcoming environment that White Rabbit Community Games Store is known for.

Located a short ride away from Spiel Essen, the White Rabbit Community Game Store will be host to a series events of running in support of Sorcery's efforts at Spiel Essen. These events provide an opportunity for Sorcerers to experience Arthurian Legends gameplay firsthand in an intimate store setting, a welcome respite after the busy days at Spiel Essen visiting the Sorcery booth.

Thursday, October 3rd: Whole Box Sealed Event
Ready for an epic evening to kick off the launch of Arthurian Legends? Join fellow Sorcerers for whole-box sealed play, where you'll build a deck from 24 sealed boosters of Arthurian Legends and battle against the Erik's Curiosa staff and other notable guests!
- Time: 16:00 Meet and Greet, 18:00 Event Start
- Note: Registration includes a sealed box of Arthurian Legends

Friday, October 4th: In-store Learn to Play, Casual Play, and Trade Event!
Whether you're new to Sorcery or a Grandmaster Wizard, this event offers the perfect opportunity to learn the game, trade with friends, and connect with the Erik's Curiosa team. (Note: Grandmaster Wizards, please leave your familiars at home...)
- Time: 18:00 Doors Open, 21:30 Doors Close
- Note: This event is FREE, no tickets or reservations are required!
Saturday, October 5th: Sealed Deck Event
Celebrate the launch of Arthurian Legends with a special live-streamed Sealed deck event, followed by on-demand Draft play. Showcase your skills, participate in live commentary, player interviews, and more in this one-of-a-kind Sorcery celebration.
- Time: 9:30 Doors Open / 10:00 Players Meeting - this event will run all day!
- Note: This event will be part of Sorcery's live-stream celebration of the launch of Arthurian Legends. Be at the epicenter of it all as we celebrate!
