Spoiler Season: Reveals from the Realm for Arthurian Legends
Sorcerers, Gen Con was a tremendous success! As the team travels home and recovers from the overwhelming enthusiasm of the event, we want to take a second to share what’s in store for the coming weeks ahead!
First Look at Arthurian Legends
Gen Con provided us with an amazing opportunity to share Sorcery: Contested Realm with fans old and new. We were thrilled with the excitement and energy surrounding our booth and events.
We couldn’t have done this without our volunteer staff who tirelessly showcased the game and helped to facilitate our sold-out 64-person draft and constructed events throughout the weekend. Now, as the dust settles from Gen Con, we are thrilled to announce the beginning of something equally exciting: the spoiler season for our upcoming set, Arthurian Legends.
Arthurian Legends Spoiler Season Begins!
The majority of Arthurian Legends will remain unspoiled in the lead-up to launch. However, the team can hardly contain their excitement so over the next four weeks, join the community in celebrating the reveal of a limited number of Arthurian Legends cards, highlighted by some of our biggest supporters.
These reveals will appear on select channels and be highlighted on our website under the Arthurian Legends “spoilers” tab. You can click through on the card image to go through to the creator's associated content - so be sure to poke around!
Kicking Things Off the Old School Way
This past weekend, in addition to the launch of the Arthurian Legends trailer, the West Coast’s premiere old-school trading card group, Beasts of the Bay, revealed Melissa Benson’s Hyter Sprites. A community that fosters a deep appreciation for old-school artists, their event champions a community-made format Two-Headed Dragon - a casual 2v2 way to play Sorcery with friends.
“So many aspects of Sorcery appeal to the Old-School player base,” Jeremy Chien, an Old-School club organizer shares, “the hand-drawn art, simplistic card descriptions, small card pool, and the nostalgic 93/94 vibes...Given all these things, it’s no wonder there’s a heavy overlap with Old School clubs embracing and loving Sorcery: Contested Realm.”

New cards will be unveiled by our dedicated content creators and partners on their respective channels in the coming weeks and will be collated on our Sorcery spoiler page. These reveals will showcase the diverse and beautiful cards in Arthurian Legends, giving you a glimpse into the strategies, lore, and legends that await. Expect breathtaking artwork as you’ve come to expect from Sorcery: Contested Realm!
