This weekend marks a major milestone for Sorcery: Contested Realm, its debut at SCG CON Houston! Players from across Texas and beyond are gathering to contest the realm, explore new decks, and share in a celebration of art, strategy, and community.
Whether you're discovering Sorcery for the first time or returning to test your mettle in our champion events, SCG CON offers something for every type of player, from beginner-friendly Community events to Champion events, including our signature Crossroads Championship event.

Your Journey Begins Here
Your path through the realm begins with choice. Across the weekend, Sorcery offers a full slate of events, each a different way to play, learn, and experience the realm.
Start your adventure in Community Events, where Learn-to-Play sessions, Preconstructed battles, and Sealed formats welcome new players and returning Sorcerers alike. These sessions are the perfect way to experience Sorcery at your own pace and earn rewards along the way!
For those who crave the challenge of structured play, step into a Champion Event and prove your mettle as a dedicated tactician! Saturday's Constructed Crossroads tournament is your chance to prove your mastery, earn prestige, and compete for exclusive Organized Play prizes.
Before the battle begins, remember: players entering a Crossroads event must submit a completed decklist before Round 1. Deck submission forms will be available onsite through Star City Games.
Our full Crossroads event guidelines can be found here.

Tables of Glass and Tales to Tell
Every Sorcery table in Houston will feature the exclusive SCG CON alternative-art "City of Glass" playmat, a gleaming vision by Sorcery artist Adam Burke that sets the stage for battle across the realm. Of course, you're welcome to bring your own Sorcery playmat if you'd like as well.
You'll also have the chance to meet with some of Sorcery's legendary artists throughout the weekend, including Jeff Laubenstein, Bryon Wackwitz, and Liz Danforth.

Treasures Await
Through participation in Community events and placing in Champion events, you'll earn tickets that can be exchanged for Sorcery products on the Prize Wall.
Additionally, the Dragonlord mini will be available for purchase in Houston at the Star City Games booth in limited quantities. Copies will be made available twice daily, once in the afternoon and again in the evening, at MSRP, limited to one per person per day while supplies last.
If you’re playing in a Champion Event during a sales window, a copy will be held for you so you won’t miss your chance to claim it.

Swap for a Swap
Community and Play are just part of the fun, don't forget about trading! At SCG CON Houston, you'll be able to swap a card with the EC team to get a copy of the alternative-art Gothic promo, Swap.
Bring a Sorcery card that holds personal meaning to exchange, adding your card to the story of our ever-growing community and honoring the connections that make this game unique!
See You in Houston
SCG CON Houston is just the beginning. From here, the realm continues on to Baltimore (October 24–26) and Las Vegas (November 21–23) for even more incredible weekends of Sorcery play, prizes, and community.
If you’re joining us in Houston, bring your deck, your curiosity, and your love of art and strategy. However you play, there’s a path waiting for you.
The realm awaits!
