Following the overwhelming turnout at Gen Con ‘23, we’ve doubled our event capacity. Enjoy ongoing learn-to-play events throughout the week, and, while our three 64-person drafts and constructed champion event are sold out, come hang out with participants and see what makes our community such a welcoming one!
Visit the Sorcery: Contested Realm Booth (#2766)
Our booth may be small this year (we were a last-minute addition!), but we aim to meet every single one of you to showcase the forthcoming Arthurian Legends expansion and giveaway our… 2024 Convention Exclusive Promo Foil Card! (strictly one per attendee)
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Sorcery artist Melissa A. Benson, who will showcase an original piece from Sorcery’s upcoming set, Arthurian Legends, releasing worldwide on October 4th. Get your favorite Sorcery cards signed, pick up a print of her new Arthurian Legends work, and meet one of Sorcery’s legendary artists.
We will also have a limited number of beta booster boxes available for sale each day for those who want the box fresh Sorcery experience, and maybe we can showcase a little glimpse of some of the cards you will be playing with in Arthurian Legends?
We ask for your cooperation on the show floor so we can line people up and get you through the booth as efficiently and safely as possible, we anticipate being busy at peak times!

Here’s what you can expect from organized Sorcery: Contested Realm gameplay at Gen Con this year.
Learn to Play Events
New to Sorcery? No problem! Our Learn to Play events will introduce you to the mechanics, strategies, and nuances of Sorcery: Contested Realm with the help of experienced players. Preconstructed Decks will be provided, and you get to keep your deck after the event!
What to bring: Just your enthusiasm!
Booster Draft Events
Adrenaline-Pumping Fun: Participate in our three 64-player Booster Draft events, where you’ll draft cards from booster packs and build a deck on the spot. Booster packs, Ordinary sites, avatars, and playmats will be provided. Prizes will be awarded for game wins, and you get to keep all the cards you draft!
What to bring: Just bring yourself, two colors of sleeves (for spellbook and atlas), and a way to track your life total. We may even have a little surprise for players in attendance!
Constructed Play Tournament
Showcase your Deck: Bring your Sorcery deck and compete for the title of Sorcery: Contested Realm Gen Con champion. Prizes will be awarded for participation, game wins, and top performances. This event includes a chance to take home a coveted Death Dealer playmat!
What to bring: Bring a 40+ card spellbook, 20+ card atlas, an avatar, and a way to track your life total. Playmats will be provided. You’ll also need to submit a decklist; we’ll have them on site, but you may prepare them in advance if you wish, using this template.

Note: Sorcery events will be run on the Sorcery Play Network, allowing participants to work towards unlocking rewards from the Dust store.
