Sorcerers, this is it! Gen Con is only a few days away, and the Erik’s Curiosa team can’t wait to see you at North America’s largest tabletop convention. With the debut of Dragonlord, the Sorcery booth will be buzzing from the moment the doors open - but that’s just the beginning. A whole realm of epic gameplay and unforgettable encounters awaits at Booth #1460 and our dedicated play space!

Be the First to Get Dragonlord

Starting when the Exhibit hall opens on July 31, Gen Con attendees will have the first opportunity to purchase Ed Beard Jr.’s Dragonlord ahead of its general release on August 2nd.

A premium set featuring 13 functionally unique, dragon-themed cards, Dragonlord showcases the hand-painted mastery of Ed Beard Jr. - a lifetime of genre-defining artistry distilled into a single, momentous release.

Each Dragonlord box includes:

  • 13 functionally unique, dragon-themed cards
  • 1 random holographic foil from the set
  • A full playset - ready to unleash!

Dragonlord is available in limited quantities- strictly one per customer, per day - and we’ll have a limited restock each morning to help ensure some access throughout the convention. Supplies are expected to go fast, so visit Booth #1460 early and don’t miss your chance to bring the Dragonlord home before its wider release on August 2nd.

Get A Swap Promo Card

Looking to get your hands on Swap, our preview card from the upcoming Gothic set? This special card is reserved for players who truly dive into the world of Sorcery through gameplay at Gen Con.

Who Gets One?

To receive a Swap card, you must:

  • Participate in a scheduled Sorcery gameplay event (Sealed, Draft, Constructed, or our Casual Play/Trade event), and
  • Complete the event in full - win or lose, the goal is to play and have fun!

Once you’ve finished your event, visit the “Binder of Swaps,” curated by our Codex Keeper, Ira Fay.

“I’m happy to swap for a player’s favorite Ordinary or Exceptional Sorcery card,” Ira shares, “as long as they sign it with their name and ‘Gen Con 2025!’”

These will be limited to one per player, so join in a gameplay event, make your trade, leave a piece of your story behind, and take home Swap as a symbol of your journey to the Realm.

Please note: while Learn-to-Plays are a great way to start your journey into the realm, Swap cards are reserved for those who take the next step and enter the fray through Sealed, Draft, and Constructed Events. If you're making your first steps and don't feel ready to jump into one of those events, join us at our Casual Play and Trade event to get your game in and make your swap!
