It’s only a week until the Australian Crossroads event (October 8–9) and the Sorcery booth at PAX Aus (October 10–12), where players from across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, and beyond will gather to contest the realm.

Here’s what you need to know!

One Week, Two Great Events

The Melbourne Crossroads (October 8–9) brings together sorcerers at Plenty of Games for Sorcery’s signature Organized Play Championship. Join fellow Sorcerers from across the Asia-Pacific region for a chance to compete for glory, earn exclusive Crossroads prizes, and celebrate the Realm with members of the Erik’s Curiosa team.

The Dragonlord mini set will also be available at the Crossroads event, with the first 50 ticketholders able to purchase one Dragonlord box each. Purchase your Crossroads ticket here.
You can find out more about Sorcery's Crossroads events here.

Then, from October 10–12, we’ve partnered with All Interactive Distribution (AIE) to bring an expanded Sorcery booth to PAX Aus, complete with learn-to-play demos, artist card signings, and an unforgettable showcase of fantasy art.

Dragonlord will also be available in limited quantities at the Sorcery booth #TT2828 throughout the weekend. Secure your PAX Aus pass here.

Meet the Artists: Brian Smith and Lindsey Crummett

It wouldn’t be a Sorcery event without artists, and we’re thrilled to welcome Lindsey Crummett and Brian Smith to Melbourne, where they’ll be signing cards, meeting fans, and offering a selection of prints.

Brian Smith will be at both the Crossroads event and PAX Aus throughout the weekend to share his art and stories with the community. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet one of the most prolific artists in the Gothic set!

Lindsey Crummett will be at the Australian Crossroads throughout the event and at the Pax Aus booth on Friday, so don’t miss the chance to meet her, pick up a signed card, or grab a print of her work.

We sat down for a casual chat with Lindsey to hear about her journey into Sorcery and the creation of her piece, Virgin in Prayer.

Scattering Dust Across the Realm

The Dust Rewards program has always been a way to celebrate your dedication to Sorcery, and for the Melbourne Crossroads event, we’re able to do something uniquely special. On October 8 (Day One), players will have the opportunity to collect Dust Reward promotional cards in person.

How it works:

  • Pickup-Only Items Go Live: On October 7 at 11:00 AM AET, special “pickup only” Dust Reward cards will appear in the Sorcery Dust Rewards Store for 24 hours.
  • Eligible Orders: Your order must include only “pickup only” promotional items to qualify.
  • Pickup Location: Collect your cards at Plenty of Games during the Melbourne Crossroads on October 8.
  • Important Note: Orders not collected on Day One will be forfeited, with Dust not refunded.

This is a one-time exception to our usual shipping process, created to celebrate the gathering of Sorcerers in Oceania. We hope this adds an extra layer of excitement to the Crossroads experience.

Meet the Team

Beyond the artists and gameplay, this is also an opportunity to meet members of the Erik’s Curiosa team in person, including members of the design team and Erik Olofsson himself! We’re excited to connect directly with players, share stories, and celebrate the community’s passion for Sorcery firsthand.

See You in Melbourne

With the Crossroads event and Pax Aus just days away, this is shaping up to be an exciting week of Sorcery. Whether you’re in Melbourne to play, collect, meet artists, or connect and hang out at the Sorcery booth, we’re looking forward to next week being a celebration of all that makes Sorcery special!

Make sure to share your pictures of the events in our community spaces on Facebook and Discord, and be sure to use the hashtag #contestedrealm when sharing your photos on social media.

We can’t wait to see you there!
