Ossi Hiekkala

Ossi is a Finnish illustrator with nearly 20 years of experience as a full-time artist. His journey into roleplaying games began in his early teens with RuneQuest and Call of Cthulhu. Ossi studied graphic design in Rovaniemi, Lapland, and later spent three years in Japan studying illustration.

After almost two decades of working in the commercial world of advertising and packaging, he transitioned to illustrating for roleplaying games, including for Chaosium Inc. Ossi lives in Järvenpää, Finland, with his wife and two young children. In his free time, he enjoys collecting art books, watching Westerns and old samurai films, exploring history, reading, cycling, and, of course, roleplaying games.
