We’re one month out from the release of Arthurian Legends! While players worldwide prepare for their Arthurian Legends release events, Erik’s Curiosa has its eyes set on Spiel Essen, the largest board gaming convention in the world.
From October 3rd to 6th, our Sorcery: Contested Realm booth at Spiel Essen will be a hub of excitement, featuring unique gameplay opportunities and special appearances by legendary Sorcery artists. For those lucky enough to attend Spiel in person, there will be plenty of Sorcery to partake in - but if you can’t make it to Essen, Germany, don't worry! You can still join in our celebratory Arthurian Legends livestream event on Saturday, October 5th.

Meet the Artists Behind Sorcery: Contested Realm
We are honored to have three distinguished artists in attendance at Spiel Essen: Drew Tucker, Severine Pineaux, and Vincent Pompetti. They will be available at the Sorcery booth to sign cards, sell prints, and showcase their original paintings. We’re honored to work with such talented artists, and you won’t want to miss the opportunity to meet with the creative minds behind some of Sorcery’s most iconic artwork!
Play Sorcery at Hall 1 - Booth 1D611
For those looking to play Sorcery and meet the design team, our booth will be buzzing with activity with learn-to-play tutorials and Arthurian Legend drafts hosted by the Sorcery team. Members from the design team, Sorcery: Contested Realm creator Erik Olofsson, and our awesome community volunteers will be on hand to teach folks how to play Sorcery, draft our latest set, and play casual games in the booth!

Sorcerers at Spiel Essen can purchase Arthurian Legends a day early on October 3rd - before the release on October 4th. But that’s not all! Beyond the booth, Erik’s Curiosa is partnering with the White Rabbit Community Game Store to host three must-attend off-site events throughout the week:
- Thursday: A Whole Box Sealed event— open a box of Arthurian Legends and join fellow players in epic battle.
- Friday: A Casual Play and Trade event, perfect for meeting other players, expanding your collection, and meeting with the Sorcery team.
- Saturday: Our grand Sealed Play Celebration, live-streamed around the world! Compete for glory and the exclusive Death Dealer Playmat!
