 is returning to Gen Con 2026, from July 30 to August 2, and we’re delighted to be once again bringing the realm to Indianapolis.

After an unforgettable showing last year, marked by packed tables, sold-out events, and the debut of 

, we’re heading back to Gen Con with renewed energy to build on that momentum and continue to focus on what makes 

special: the people who gather around the table.

With more than 72,000 attendees passing through Gen Con last year, the energy in the halls was unmatched, and the 

 booth and event space sat right at the heart of it all. This summer, we’re thrilled to invite you to join us in Indianapolis for another standout gathering of players, collectors, and friends.

What to Expect from Sorcery at Gen Con 2026

Over the years, Gen Con has become a cherished tradition for us. It’s where we hosted our first events after the release of Alpha

and it will always hold a special place in our hearts as a place where the wider gaming community and the 

 as it was always meant to be played: together.

As in years past, our focus for Gen Con 2026 remains on creating space for these shared moments.

Whether you’re opening your very first packs or returning with a well-worn spellbook eager to see familiar faces from other events, you can expect opportunities to jump into games, learn to play, and connect with both the community and the team from Erik’s Curiosa.

We’re committed to providing space for players to join at their own pace, wherever they feel most comfortable.

Learn-to-Play sessions, casual games, packed tournaments, and the easy conversations that grow naturally around the table will once again be at the heart of our Gen Con presence.

We were genuinely humbled by the enthusiasm and kindness we experienced last year, and we’re carrying that with us as the team plans for Gen Con 2026.

We’re still fine-tuning the details, so keep an eye out for more updates as the year progresses, but know this: if Gen Con is where you gather with friends, discover new games, and celebrate what makes 

 special, you won’t want to miss what’s coming.

Sorcery Awaits: Join us at Gen Con 2026

With SCG CON Portland wrapping up this past weekend, the efforts of local community groups are helping 

In the lead-up to the weekend, members of 

 were already thinking about what it means to gather around the game they love. The focus was not on standings or placement, but on the sense of togetherness that 

 so often inspires when players come together with intention.

Fresh off their annual Beasts of the Bay toy drive, the group was already reflecting on how play could turn into something more. Looking for ways to amplify their powers for good, Neil from Beasts of the Bay reached out to the 

 question: what if we built something together?

What followed was a fully off-site charity event, co-hosted by two communities and united as the “West Coast Dragons.” The goal was not just to enjoy 

during the SCG CON weekend, but to use the game as a gathering point for generosity, connection, and shared purpose.

For this event, the group chose to raise funds for 

, an organization that has supported Oregon families since 1992. Birch focuses on food distribution for families in immediate need, alongside financial education and counseling that help build long-term stability.

All proceeds from the event were donated directly to Birch Community Services, ensuring that every entry, raffle ticket, and contribution went toward supporting local families in need.

Jeremy Chien of the Beasts of the Bay shares, “We chose to raise funds for this non-profit because of their commitment to our local communities and ability to handle the logistics of getting resources where they are needed most.”

For the organizers, supporting Birch felt like a natural extension of 

 values: helping neighbors, strengthening communities, and leaving places better than we found them.

thrives anywhere people gather with intention, whether that’s around a kitchen table, at a local game store, or, in this case, packed into a pub with fellow sorcerers who care as much about one another as they do about the cards in their decks.

With over 40 participants in attendance, three 

 artists joining the celebration, and $3,000 raised for charity, the event stood as a clear example of what the 

 community can create when it comes together with generosity and purpose.

At Erik’s Curiosa, we are honored to see communities like Beasts of the Bay and Rose City Sorcery leading by example.  Their willingness to welcome new faces, collaborate across communities, and turn play into positive impact is a powerful reminder of how player-led communities can use games as a force for good.

West Coast Dragons: A Sorcery Community United for Good

If you’ve been holding onto your Dust, this is the moment it was meant for!

Today, we’re opening the gates to a new set of Dust Rewards, featuring the striking foil illustrations by 

, alongside an updated Avatar, shaped by the living history of the realm itself.

This Dust Rewards update brings Dan Seagrave’s depictions of the Prophets of Doom, each drawn from the shadows of 

 and finished with foil and full-art backs: The Necromancer, the Harbinger, the Persecutor, and the Savior.

Alongside these new rewards, we're also introducing an updated version of the Druid, reflecting the previously announced 

Avatars sit at the heart of Sorcery’s identity, and while we will not be creating updated versions of all cards, given that the Druid is an Avatar, it was important to us that it is readily available for those who walk its path.

Dust is Sorcery’s loyalty system that lets you earn and redeem rewards such as exclusive promos, playmats, and other treasures. You can collect Dust by playing in events on the Sorcery Play Network and by opening and authenticating booster boxes.

Dust can be earned primarily through two methods: gameplay and product acquisition.

Join an event on the Sorcery Play Network, whether at your local game store or an official Erik’s Curiosa event, and you’ll earn Dust, Sorcery’s reward currency, for participating and for performance. The larger the event, the greater the bounty.

You can also earn Dust through your collection. Every Sorcery booster box includes a unique QR scratch code. Entering it on the Sorcery website verifies your product’s authenticity and rewards you with Dust.
