This deck is built off an old quad-element Templar deck I used to run. The idea of that deck was to be fairly aggressive with my site and minion placement. The Templar's discount would stack with other discounts like Town, Camelot, the Black & White Knight's special summoning criteria and Tournament Grounds to remove threshold requirement. Provided the starting hand was good this deck allowed for Sirs, Knights & Dames to be played way earlier, with Black & White Knights often being playable for 1 Mana and Sir Tom Thumb was often a freebie. However this deck had many issues. The Knights themselves aren't too powerful despite Lance, it gets shut down hard by Control-Decks and really struggles to end games.
This version of the deck aims to fix all that. Whilst the knights still aren't great they are now merely the prelude to the Dragons lurking at the back, ready to swoop in should the opportunity (and mana requirements) arise. These will have some nice synergies with the more powerful Sirs and Uniques like Sir Priamus, Queen Guinevere and Ruler of Thul. The Templar has been swapped out for the Elementalist to aid in getting the threshold requirements down. Theoretically this could mean that Tournament Grounds could be taken out as most of the Knights, Sirs and Dames only require 1 of any threshold, so it has been put on the Maybeboard for now until I can test this further. However the Templar's removal has removed his extra discount, so if threshold isn't an issue he can be swapped back in. I had also considered playing this deck as the Dragonlord, but I think the Elementalist makes most sense so that threshold issues don't arise.
Iceberg's presence in this deck is to help combat the more common removal types such as Drown and Bury, to ensure the Dragons stay around as long as possible once they are in play. But be careful with placement, as it can work against Vatn Draconis. Giving Excalibur to either King Arthur, Queen Guinevere or preferably Caelestis will also make them impervious to damage, and as such this should be saved for them whenever possible. Also bear in mind that placing Dragonlord's Lair, Major City and Camelot adjacent to one another will ensure that their discounts overlap, allowing for cheaper Sirs and Dragons.
