Just your average lava imposter with a slightly more aggro bent. Sister Stefania and Majuz Ifrit are great together.
Mull to an aggressive hand, the late game will take care of itself.
Tournament report from the October 10th, 2026 Grand Contest in Montreal:
R1 - E/A Imposter. They were on some go big earth minions like Conqueror Worm and Midland Army. the worm came down on turn 5 and army came down two turns later. Once I dealt with those the game was smooth sailing.
R2 - E/F Geomancer first loss. They got me into a corner with Atlas Wanderers. Once they got me to door I was able to stabilize by masking as Ironclad and all was looking great until they infiltrated my autumn unicorn and I had no other way to get rid of it other than by playing a site, switching masks to archi, and flashing back poison nova. They were then able to vile imp for the win.
R3 - Air Pathfinder Second loss. I was exhausted and misplayed hard. Its hard to judge this loss as anything but pilot error and bad math on my part. I don't remember much other than had I not screwed up on turn 4-5 they would have been at door before me and it would have been a much different game.
R4 - W/A Necro. Not much to say here. Colicky kept him from amassing an army of skeletons and Balor + Infernal Legion just kinda sealed the deal.
*break for lunch*
R5 - mono water Waveshaper. I had a terribly slow start where I mulled my entire opening hand of 4 drops to draw into 2 Infernal Legions and a Wildfire. Since Waveshaper is also slow it gave me time to really run around with Pathfinder accruing more value than them and ultimately keeping him on the backfoot with the large dudes while chipping in with the little guys once I drew them.
R6 - Mono fire Witch. Double death's door. Extremely tight game. Ironclad OP
R7 - Mono fire Witch. Again, double death's door extremely tight game. Gargantula came in clutch to lock down a siege giant that would have prevented me from dooring them as well as providing a blocker for any charge minions they may have had.
Didn't fight against any courts.
Omphalos is great I couldn't imagine leaving home without it.
Majuz Ifrit was stellar. I know most lava lists are on Paladins but I wanted to be a more aggressive midrange deck.
