Since a few people have now asked me for this deck and recreated it from PSO replays, I figured, fuck it, I'll release it so I can get some credit for publishing it myself :)

This is a work in progress, so there will be changes over time. It's not the strongest deck out there, but it's quite good right now :)

The original idea for the deck came from Ira’s Season 3 deck and a good friends corruptor combo. I really wanted to play a combo deck with Imposter, and Ira had a cool list built around it.

Over time, I noticed a few weaknesses:

• Courts make uniques harder to play. I’d argue they’re especially punishing because courts can stack.
• Fire aggro deals too much damage too quickly. It’s hard to keep it at bay with control. If they deal 3 damage and I kill their minions afterward, I’m already too slow.
• Bower of Bliss and Haystack practically insta-killed the deck. Without Water or Fire, removing sites came down to getting lucky and drawing Earthquake/Mover of Mountain and Fields of Phyrexia.

So I adjusted the deck to lean into the strengths of using Towns: I added more good exceptional minions and reduced the number of unique cards, which can be too swingy.

Bane of Aventis is an amazing card, but only when your opponent plays Ward and no Courts.

Unicorn for 2 mana on a town is even better against Fire aggro.

These changes reduced my chances of pulling off the combo, but improved my overall win rate.

Update 2: End of October

I’m seeing fewer and fewer Courts of Equity being played and more water, which tempts me to add more uniques again. Archangel Michael is a really strong card. Bane of Aventis just butchers Water with their Stags and Orders.
