Want to pilot something truly weird and otherworldly? Do you dream of slamming down a game-ending Great Old One off a Falling Star? How about mutating a defensive Wall of Ice into a straight beater like Thing in the Ice?
If you answered yes to any of the above, welcome home. This is the deck for you.
Falling Star is super underplayed and utterly terrifying. It isn't a complex combo piece or anything, just a Timmy's absolute dream that forces massive threats into the realm for free. In Enchantress, it's even playable since you can animate it and get to bonking them with it!
But there are even wilder tricks... Cast Shapeshift to animate an aura like Wall of Ice, then choose that newly-animated aura as your allied minion to resolve the transformation. Playing a Wall of Ice on turn two into a Tower and Shapeshift on turn three means you could be starting the game off with Yog-Sothoth or a Great Old One before your opponent even sets up. Even transforming into a Daperyll Vampire on turn three puts good pressure on the board.
Monstermorphosis offers somewhat similar if still lackluster potential, though it requires an aura that is already animated and has some other hoops to jump through. It does however double-dip by being able to be used to neutralize nearby enemy minions when you need to slow the game down or make a profitable trade for your minions that may have otherwise died. The payoff though is redundant transform effects and you can still hit something scary off it!
