Not A Real Primer, Deck Credits Go To DarthVonkoenig

I still need to find a Kor Crematory, Wuthering Heights and a City of Glass to have the baseline manabase he uses. For the main deck, I need a Balor of the Evil Eye and an Asmodeus.

Currently in their place for sites, im playing a River of Flame, Mismanaged Mortuary and The Colour Out of Space. In my limited experience, the deck can have trouble hitting air threshold early. The best draws ive had with this deck involve summoning sphere and charge minions. a Mountain Peaks might be better than any of those lands on their own.

Currently in their place for spells, I’m playing Key to the City and Boudicca. I dont yet fully appreciate the utility Balor and Asmodeus provide. I think with the new Courts, top end uniques lose a little favor, but that hasn’t materialized in my current metagame. The deck does struggle to answer Root Spiders in my experience so Balor is likely necessary as a hedge for those.

I find this deck gets to draw extra cards something like 50% of the time. It makes it easier to 2-for-1 yourself early to establish pressure. Sturmgeist is an all-star, same with The Rack. As I get more reps, I’ll update notes here.
