With this deck I managed to go 4-0 for sealed making the top pod for the 1st Grand Contest Limited Championship. If you're interested in seeing that list you can check it out here:

I ended up with a pool that contained almost everything I want! A full set of heavy mud minions that allow you to take broad control, with early game minions that get you into the late game. The things it lacked in removal and finishers it made up for in one of the most insane minion curves I've ever had for limited. Specifically the card I missed the most was smite, what I consider to be one of the best cards in gothic limited.
The biggest deliberation I had was wether to splash for air. If I included air I would of been able to cut some of the weaker minions in my build such as sea witch and a drowned or entombed. Which would of allowed me to add both a as well as a . Providing me with some much needed removal and possible finisher in the form of scatter. If I did include air it made both & awkward so ultimately I opted to just keep two utility sites.
Looking back I should have included . When initially assessing the card I was focused on it's genesis ability and how many targets it would have. Which was not enough, but realistically just having a 4 power body with airborne is probably good enough to include.
Having stuck to straight mud with such a gradual curve I've named this deck Another Bigger Man. Since I often drew more sites than I wanted, landing me in top deck mode. But ultimately would draw another bigger minion to play than the previous turn, gradually increasing pressure and board presence.
Use early anti-aggro minions to stop possible aggro, such as & being careful to put the appropriate site forward. Pairing that with anti-aggro site warding to further slow down the game. I believe I drew my blessed well & night watchmen multipel games. Allowing for a setup where on turn three both my forward sites were warded. Then curve out playing larger threats over time, draw into more large threats or double spell on a key turn.
Game 1: Stealth Cat
A pleasant game and great time getting to finally play in paper. A generous player who definitely let me tap to draw some sites when I forgot. Thank you again! I hope you had a great time for the rest of the convention. I got a lot of value out of a safely played .
Game 2: Lucy
A difficult game that I thought I had lost after making a play mistake. Lucking into some good draws followed up by a mistake on Lucy's end that let me take the game with which was an mvp card for the game.
Game 3: Pete
Playing Pete just after his daughter gave me flashbacks to some twin matches from last year. A game where I made a play mistake (hard for me to remember in the moment that Monks doesn't work with meat hook). Pete was awesome about the role back. We continued play and I managed to grab and hold on to the board from there.
Game 4: Stars4Everyone
One of the most interesting and challenging competitive games I've ever played. Another game where I opted not take my front site, due to opening with Lucid Dreamers. The dreamers managed to get a lot of damage in, and applied extra pressure over the course of the game! One of the craziest site layouts where the main line was full, but there were two squares of void giving my opponent a space to hide.
I took the board after an initial fight, managed to door him then opted to keep some defense's back. The right call... as he took out my hyper parasite and failed mutation with a single call of the sea. From there I switched to a more defensive strategy.
This was another game where was my mvp.
After getting home the deck and pool was one card short. I'm 99% certain that it was a Penitent Knight, or Horrible Hybrids that I took out to place into the tokens pile. I put in a penitent knight for now.
