Savior is an underrated, midrange Avatar, with the ability to take over the board entirely and turn around even the toughest positions with careful play.
We are running all of the same classic control pieces as Water Necro, but dropping a lot of the monsters and undead in favor of minions that can be warded. Our usual strategy is to go late, and outvalue our opponent with favorable trades. Against control matchups, however, we can come out swinging and apply a lot of early pressure so long as we don't overextend.
Lilith, Mother Nature, and Selfsame Simulacrum are our win condition cards. The aim is to make our opponents minions see the light, and come over to the winning team. DO NOT SLEEP ON SELFSAME SIMULACRUM. Don't you want 2 Liliths on the board? Of course you do! The Doom of Dilmun giving you trouble? Make one of your own!
Also, remember Savior can ward a minion multiple times the turn it is summoned, if necessary. This interaction comes in handy to throw Avenging Angels at big dudes. Got 6 mana and had a minion die last turn? Avenging Angel, Ward, Attack, Trade Favorably, Re-Ward.
The rest of the list should be fairly self explanatory. We run big control pieces to stall out the game, give lethal minions ward to keep our opponents at bay and eat up removal. Tufted Turtles will preserve their ward with their ability, making them very difficult to remove. Heal off Abaddon and Ring where we can, try to get Omphalos popping for card advantage, and just be generally annoying with your minions. Patience is key, but don't be afraid to turn on the gas. Our goal is to complicate the board state, outthink our opponent, and overwhelm them.
