On Saturday 7/11/26 I placed middle of the road during first 2K event at Excalibur Pittsburgh. I lost twice to awful threshold draws and I had enough of that so I decided to take out every card that was 2 fire threshold. I then realized I only had my trade binder with me and was missing a LOT of cards to make those changes lol

So this is what I had on hand, and decided to keep some of the higher costed 2-fire cards as a compromise. I ended up going 3-2 and made it into the top cut for the tournament! Ended up just squeaking in at 8th place!

I will definitely be making a new deck in the future to add more non-temporary changes. Might also try testing some other element variants like "mostly fire, drop of earth" and "mostly air, drop of earth". I'll be doing some playtesting!

If you want to try this, definitely replace the returned king before you play. Thing was just sitting in my hand, useless. It was just the only big minion I had in my binder that seemed useful the night before lol
