Kindling Engine
This deck aims to use value low-curve minions to generate consistent damage to the opponents. Running "value" low-curve minions with the Sorcerer's ability to draw two spells a turn means I can generally force trades with my opponent and come out ahead on card advantage. While the strategy is making sure you apply early and consistent damage each turn, it is important to hold a few pieces back in your hand. Even when my board gets cleared, I can comfortably recover in my turn and keep pushing forward.
Heavily influenced by All Deserts, No Brakes
Infinite-Combo decks are so much fun to play against when I can do nothing in your turn to interact with them. Yay!
I will update this as I play more.
Tournament Results:
28/6/2026 - 5th of 14 players. 2-1. Misplayed against Interrgator/Air - took 6 damage when I should have let him draw cards instead. This allowed him to put me on Death's Door.
1/7/2026 - 5th of 11 players. 2-1. Lost to Savior Fire/Water - very bloody game. Well played by my opponent.
8/7/2026 - 4th of 11 players. 2-1. Won against Harbinger Fire/Air Aggro and Savior Water/Ward. Lost to Interrogator Combo (Choaswish/Ring/Kyltea)
15/7/2026 - 11th of 13 players. 1-2. Lost Interrogator Air/Fire, T4 Book of Dead slowly swung the game in his favor. Corrupter Town Priest/Ring/Town combo...yawn. Bye.
18/7/2026 - 4th of 7 players. 2-1. Bye. Lost to Pathfinder Fire/Aggro, Won against Interrogator Air/Fire
29/7/2026 - 11th of 13 players. 1-2. Lost to Enchantress Water/Control. Won against Animist Air/Fire/Earth Toolbox. Lost to Sparkmage Air/Control. Super tired this night.
5/8/2026 - 12th of 12 players. 0-3.
Round 1 - Sorcerer Earth Ramp, a net-decked top 4 one, Ramptacular I think fairly close game, my opponent won by purely having better, stronger cards.
Round 2 - Archimagoo Earth/Air Ramp, the netdecked Rank 1 NA, did stuff, life gain and token spam gave my opponent the win, cast Border Milita five times in two turns.
Round 3 - Interregator Air/Fire Aggro, probably the most interesting deck build, his strategy worked better than mine. Tired and over getting stomped at this point.
Need to re-tinker the deck, I could do something every game but could not quite carry it over the finish line each time. I don't know, opponents seemed to simply have the stronger and more expensive cards that swing the game heavily in there favor when played. 21 games deep into this deck and the last two weeks I've just been taken apart by decks running ramp/control packages, I'll probably shelve this for the time being and come back to it later if I can be fucked.
