Revisiting Elementalist. Leaning away from the Water theme, and focusing on High Power/Ward/High Impact minions with weird costs.
This avatar is allowed to play 2/3 Threshold stuff as if it was 1/2, and cards like the Sirs/Dames usually only need 1 additional element from a site.
This allows us to play Earth/Water which normally wouldn’t be possible due to the Threshold demands, and tech in Air as support for Vampires/Grapple/Whirling Blades for either NO investment or 1 Air site needed (which is good as we can run Wuthering Heights and one of each Tower guilt free.)
Mesmerism requires 3x Water sites, and Water has a few 2x/the most 1x cards in this deck, so there are 18 sites w Water. The cards to watch out for are Paladins of Bazia and Gargantula, as they require 2x Earth sites, but there are only 13 in the deck. I may want to bump things around to move some from Air and into Earth.
Pond is a necessary/OP site in this deck as it allows your beasts (Most notably Gargantula) to be cast without Earth threshold, and gives a discount to Unicorn/Lugbog Cat/Gargantula/Sacred Stag.
Elementalist doesn’t need to tap for bonus, so is free to move around for Ring/Alkahest/Poison Nova. Otherwise, tap to draw sites on turns you don’t need the mana and get your thresholds sorted.
Atlas is mostly for threshold, but there’s some light Troll Bridge/Wuthering/Coy Nixie play in there too. Other sites are just high impact for their element (Pebbled Paths, Babbling Brook, Pillar of Zeiros, etc.)
Tintagel and Color Out of Space are for all 3 threshold fixes.
