Made this deck for my wife:
-Elementalist has her favorite art,
-Water is her favorite element, but she’s not too into the flood/submerge theme.
In terms of gameplay, the plan is “big value from all colors.”
Elementalist loses out on an active ability during the game, so needs to get value back by playing powerful cards from basically the entire catalogue.
Water is the focus, with a small splash of Air.
Originally only Water sites, until I remembered Whirling Blades.
As such I added Air sites for value: 1 of each Tower for Mana Cheating, and Wuthering Heights for OP movement.
This opened up Sir Lamorak, who for the purposes of Elementalist counts as having a 1 Air threshold.
Torshammar to get value from trades, including Frogs.
Toolbox is mandatory with Ele. Many excellent spells for 1 Color. Feel free to experiment: I like to run Bury and Drown so they can’t escape. Maybe I should run Boil too lol.
There are many movement effects in this deck, which can either pull someone into your Bottomless Pit/Thin Ice/Troll Bridge, or pull enemy minions out of position for trades/Bullfrog.
The minions in this deck all have stupid high value, as do the spells.
Onslaught can kill people who aren't paying attention to your Seven Frogges, or create big swings.
Late game, Island Leviathan is essentially an 8 Power minion with Charge. Combo this with Grapple Shot/Whirling Blades to absolutely wreck face.
