Update: Since the rules change concerning mana, this deck got a bit worse. Ersatz Platz was very strong. Stopping at 4 mana means a Toolbox is quite a bit less efficient. Trying without one for now, left the original collection as is. Fields of Phyxis takes the place of Ersatz Platz in the atlas.

Win fast or lose fast, there is rarely anything in between. There are better avatars for this type of deck, but Persecutor is uniquely fun. If you like scooting around the board, banishing Root Spiders wherever they are or sneaking into your opponents Gnome Hollows to attack each turn, this is for you.

Notes for success:

* Your atlas is very strong and the only justification for mono fire. Use it and mulligan aggressively for answers!

* Ersatz Platz bumps you up to 5 mana for the one turn you drew a Lava Flow or Askelon Phoenix.

* Don't overcommit to get The Rack going. If it's between racking or controlling the board, chose to deal with the opponent's minions. If you lose tempo on board, you lose the game.
