Deck Overview
Evil Prevails is a Sorcerer-led Demon Midrange deck that leverages a dense Demon package, strong tutoring, board pumps, and efficient removal to overwhelm opponents.
It combines early pressure, card advantage, and powerful late-game Demons into a cohesive Evil/Fire strategy. The deck excels at curving out with Demons, using Fallen Angel to turn them into a lethal force, and Demon Contract to find exactly what it needs.
Playstyle: Proactive midrange with strong interaction. You want to develop threats early, control the board, and close with pumped Demons or big finishers.
Core Strategy & Key Synergies
1. The Demon Engine
• Vile Imp (4) + Lesser Blood Demon (4) give you explosive starts.
• Corruptor Freak (3), Pudge Butcher (3), Shackled Demon (2) provide midgame bodies.
• Fallen Angel (3) is the star — it pumps all your Demons, turning good bodies into overwhelming threats.
• Top-end: Asmodeus, Balor of the Evil Eye, Lord of Destruction, and Mephistopheles (cheated or hard-cast) close games.
2. Tutoring & Consistency
• Demon Contract (2) — With so many Demons, you can tutor almost any spell in the deck by turn 3–4. This is your most important engine card.
• Sorcerer Avatar — Provides steady card draw to keep the gas flowing.
• Raise Dead (2) — Recursion for key Demons or Fallen Angels.
3. Interaction Suite
• Lightning Bolt (4) + Bury (4) + Blink (4) = excellent removal and protection.
• Searing Truth (3) — Hand disruption and reach that punishes greedy or high-curve decks.
• All Mortals Gone, Black Mass, Earthquake — situational wipes and big swings.
4. Support Pieces
• Jihad and Eclipse Auras provide strong board control or life swing.
• Toolbox (3) offers flexibility for specific answers.
• Cores and Shrine of the Dragonlord add value and mana fixing.
