The inspiration for the entire deck is the 1999 movie the mummy. I a using the themes and imagery in the film to first select the cards. As Imhotep is a necromancer the choice of the avatar was easy. I reviewed all of the current sites available again using the theme and the look of the movie. This dictated that I would be running a fire/air deck.

As I watch the movie started adding items that just made sense. The meteor shower was added due the scene which matches the graphics of the cards. The black cat as Imohtep is afraid of cats as guardians of the underworld.
