Deck Overview
This is a heavy spell-slinger deck built around explosive magic damage, board wipes, and direct face burn. It plays as a midrange-to-late-game engine that ramps aggressively into high-impact spells while using artifacts to accelerate the plan. The goal is to pressure the opponent’s life total steadily, then finish with a flurry of burn once they’re in the danger zone.
Core Game Plan
• Use artifacts to ramp into expensive spells as early as possible.
• Fill the graveyard to maximize Arch synergies while ditching traditional collection-access cards.
• Leverage spellcaster synergies (all minions have genesis try to sync with deathrite site)
• Close games with versatile burn and removal once the opponent is low on life.
Key Synergies
• Arch-focused package: Sisters, Blink, Browse and Chorus of Condemnation to fill the graveyard to keep the spell engine running.
• Highland Princess: Excellent with the artifact suite. Prioritize fetching Philosopher’s Stone early for consistent ramp or use it mid/late for explosive turns that dump multiple high-cost spells in one go.
• Searing Truth: One of the standout cards — extremely versatile for removal, reach, or setting up favorable trades.
-Geistwood: is my new favorite site; all my minions have a genesis ability. Park any or all of you minions on Geistwood and cast minor explosion on your own site. Or keep it there during board wipes for double genesis ability.
Mulligan Strategy
Keep hands with strong artifact ramp and mana fixing (especially site-based fixing). Aggressively mulligan away high-cost spells in favor of early artifacts and consistent mana. You want to hit the ground running so you can start casting big spells by turn 3–4.
Strengths
• Very high ceiling for explosive turns.
• Strong face damage and all-in destruction/burn package.
• Once the opponent is on deaths door, almost any burn spell can close the game.
• Fun, casual, and highly rewarding when the synergies line up.
Weaknesses & Challenges
• Water control decks are a notable problem (they can disrupt your timing and mana development).
• Relies heavily on hitting the right mix of ramp and enablers; bad draws can leave you stalled.
Overall Assessment
This is a fun, casual explosive spell-slinger deck that rewards good sequencing and artifact management. It has real teeth in the mid-to-late game and satisfying “I win out of nowhere” potential with burn.
