The central goal of False Prophet is the execution of the Town Priest loop. That is that, when playing Corruptor, town priest can self target itself for return, allowing your to recast again and again to trigger Ring of Morigan. It is ideal that you have some way of reducing the cost of Town Priest so the loop is infinite.
The backup strategy and to keep pressure on while you assemble Exodia is to effectively grief. Dessecrator Kite, Grief Larvae, and Devil's Egg can all be quite effective quite quickly, especially when you use Spore Spouts to summon them starting in enemy territory and just camp them there, forcing them to take care of them or bleed out. Locusts of Illyria are also a massive annoyance troop, along with any other decent sized Deamon and it's War Horse or Fine Courser for quick positioning.
The Corruptor also gives us an opening for some good Deamon buff synergy hence the Fallen Angel and large number of Deamons to benefit. But the other reason the Deamons are all there is for Demonic Contract. We want it to be able to pull either Town Priest or the Ring so it is important to get a Unique Deamon onto the field as quickly as possible for searching as well.
To the end of getting Town Priest we have basically every search in the game in the appropriate elements. Demonic Contract, Highland Princess, Browse, and Dream Quest along with various other draw tech. Silver Bullet is mainly in place to have effectively 4 copies of Towm Priest in the deck (2 actual and 1 you can pull from the collection), same deal with Town and Ersatz Platz. The combo is not actually that expensive to set up so losing a bit of tempo in land drops to set it up is not impactful.
While there are ways included to try and do things like Scavenger Fiend and Lord of Greed to reclaim (or just take) key broken or stolen pieces, it is generally going to be best to hold things like the ring until you can immediately door them the turn you play it or you are roughly confident they have no significant defense for the move should it last into a second turn.
Last notes I have are to not be afraid of Demonic Contract's or Pnakotic Manuscript's life cost. The deck wants to be very aggressive and use life as a resource. Ideally you will be spending life and then nearly immediately regaining it from the Ring. Also will note that while the reduced cost is ideal for the combo, it is not strictly necessary if you happen to weaken them enough first with the backup plan.
