DECK IDEA
Savior trying to cheat lethal and remove threats easily. Ideally ward a minion, trade up with lethal, possibly multiple times. Deck revolves around having cards that either awaken Slumbering Giantess or you can give them lethal to remove threats while trading up (Sling Pixies, Colicky Dragonettes, Skirmishers of Mu, Balor of the Evil Eye, Fail-not Bow, Sir Bors the Younger).
GAMEPLAN:
Ideal opening would be turn one Tower into Shrine of the Dragonlord (alternative is Philosophers stone). Turn two wuthering height in-front sling pixies warded in back row. Turn three play a site (ideally earth+/fire threshold), Giantess on wuthering, pixies wake her up, savior wards her, wuthering height sends her forward now or next turn. Turn four either draw site, whirling blades, or draw spell grapple shot for 10 damage, moving pixie up as a finisher/lethal remover.
LETHAL STRATEGY:
Assorted Animals with Philosopher's Stone can let you play it for 2 mana for snake, rat and goat, play Snake and rat for free and ward them for 2, so it is a 4 mana play. With no stone - you only take snake/rat and goat for 2, play snake and ward for 2. for each additional mana over 4 you take one more lethal minion for 1 mana and create insane card advantage with inherent double removal. Also playing them where there is no threat just nets rediculus card advantage. This also unbricks your deck for subsequent turns, making it more likely to draw your bigger cards. Next turn you go Goat for Azazel and go to town with Plague Rats and Pit Vipers and keep warding the GOAT.
For doing better with lethal threats there is some movement included in deck (grapple shot, whitling blades, siege giant, wuthering heights).
Trying to take full advantage of gift of the serpent for removal - Sling Pixies shine in this deck, waking up giantess so she can be warded on turn summoned - 4 mana play. Other times giving them lethal is just strong removal that draws you cards. Same for colicky dragonettes, keeping in mind giantess won't be warded going this route, but colicky with lethal are even stronger, sitting in back row, warded, and shooting lethal darts. The same reason is fail not bow, putting it on lethal minion grants them range 3 and removes threats possibly multiple times, and on Balor of the Evil Eye or any other big big minion its just very strong and can net you big swings to deaths door unexpectedly by shooting their avatar from the back row.
Grapple shot and whirling blades on any lethal minion is very strong, but in a pinch Poisonous Dagger on savior with whirling blades can get you out of a pinch so you can rebuild in case of a board wipe.
Skirmishers of Mu are mobile shooters which are great with lethal, can wake up Giantess, and can swing for 6 on an enemy - shoot projectile while moving to attack the same enemy 3+3.
Siege Giant can reposition most of your minions for easier trading up and removal, and to traverse Perilous Bridges.
WINING STRATEGIES:
The deck tries to beat mid range meta by removing threats left and right and outperforming. Into agro you have small warded minions that can handle threats, and have a better mid to late game in war of attrition. Midrange you can compete nicely, into long range deck you have to try to play agro - Giantess with Grapleshot and attack for 10, not holding minions in back row...
Just be mindful playing into air as Bane of Aventis can wreck you heavily - play some warded threats defensively in back row and be mindful when ward is not even a good idea, and skipping it can save you from Bane of Aventis wipe out. Losing even one card can tip the game against you, hence watchtower for infiltrates, but there is little work around for Bane of Aventis.
You can have really sticky minions with Lady Iseult with ward and Goat for Azazel, and when both are on board it makes them very hard to remove, consistently forcing out removal or netting you card advantage if opponent doesn't remove. Goat for Azazel plays are what you want to do if the game goes long.
POSIBLE GOOD DECK CHANGES:
Can easily remove 2 wuthering heights for 2 mountain peaks and play bane of aventis in this deck in case of mirror match or to steal minions back. I prefer wuthering for movement of lethal minions. Could even swap towers, but the plus one mana is just too good.
Also possible is swapping 1 bosk trolls for 1 arjaro exorcist and vice versa, as Atlantean Fate can wreck your threshold something fierce - always play around Atlantean Fate, and maybe put in more aura hate.
Redbreast robin can be good lethal user/finisher/giantess awakener, and can be searched with assorted animals in a pinch for a giantess/lethal plays. But so far i didn't have any trouble with awakening her, will keep testing.
Fail-not bow for another Whirling blades, but so far I find it better in this deck as it costs less, can be used multiple times and can be used from the back row as lethal removal or finisher. Possibly 1 Poison Nova for 1 Whirling Blades or one Infiltrate for 1 Whirling Blades.
Including Root Spiders would be a good idea if you want to play a bit more defensively, i find that they are not needed, as ideally you play more aggressively.
Can put in more Poisonous dagger for gift of the serpent, I find this ratio more consistent.
TESTING:
Deck performs consistently, albeit at times though rarely thresholds can be a problem.
Cores aren't needed as the deck doesn't mind taping to draw 4th site most of the time and work on 4 mana really well and would rather draw more 1 power minions instead of them, rarely you will draw a site for turn, but it will happen sometimes.
Assorted animals performs spectacularly, at worst netting one lethal minion you play warded immediately and at best netting you 4+ cards.
