Thematic deck built around dynamic humans overcoming the odds and erecting monuments to their ambition.
The overall goal is to amass an army of Mortals and Giants to overwhelm and outlast your opponent thanks to the superior draw sustain afforded by Sorcerer.
Strengths:
Minion synergy, tutoring Exceptional Mortals with Call to War for problem solving.
Bringing out heavy beaters in the form of Giants to slam the hammer down.
Overlapping Lord effects from various sources and protecting from Craterize with Tragedy Worrywarts.
Field Laborers aplenty to keep Sorcerer focused on drawing cards.
Weaknesses:
Problems can arise against bigger Minion decks, and into heavy removal, altho I've tried to supply answers to as many situations as possible between Call to War and Toolbox.
Turboing out to 6 Sites as soon as possible is important, but if you get additional mana sources at 4 or 5 sites you can make do with less.
The Mix Terras and Four Waters of Paradise are absolutely crucial for casting the right bomb at the right time, use them wisely.
There's almost no two-mana cards to play early, so focusing on building up a big hand for turn 3 is important.
Keep your Geysers in hand until you see Root Spider enter the Realm.
And don't be afraid to buy time with Guards! or toolboxing Border Militia.
Thematic moments in this deck can be sending the Midland Army over the Great Wall, constructing I Am Colossus!, discovering the Kingdom of Agartha, calling the Crusade, building the Tower of Babel, and sending the Giants and Mortals over the mountains to your opponent's Avatar with Ruler of Thul.
