This deck is a quintessential "unfair" tempo deck. You are trying your best to play high-value beaters as soon as possible through some specific site inclusions, and beat your opponent before they can do anything about it. That's all there is to this deck, really.
Elementalist enables all this better than most other avatars since the City cycle from Gothic (, , and ) all work for you immediately when you play them, providing 2 mana instantly and permanently. Elementalist can also play a number of 1-pip cards that would be unavailable to most other decks, which helps round things out.
