Hello there! Hope you having a lovely day.
I was recently at a tournament in Krems, Austria and did preety well for myself! Even though I am playing only for 5 months I still have a lot to learn about this wonderful game and I do believe that this deck is currently one of the strongest water decks out there.
This deck is not my own creation. The mastermind behind it is @Hicham and you should check his main decklist out on curiosa. He is a great guy, and helped me out immensely on learning the deck properly, and understanding the underlying principles of how he imagined things working.
I enjoyed playing with this deck, it is very good and for someone like me, that hasn't played much competitive rl tournaments and it made me not overthink about a lot of things, but rather play aggressive and focus on my own game plan.
The basis of the deck, if you are a magic player, this would be the most Simic experience you will have.
You want to ramp out your big guys, you want to overflow the board, and you want to use your spells to out position your opponents and do valuable trades. Card draw is king in a lot of scenarios where things go a bit late game, but in reality, water is so strong right now, that in the end you will have more value on the board compared to your opponents.
Silver bullet, Snowball, good Swaps will finish on door.
The meta is strong with Necromancers, but a Pied Piper or a Mester Stoor Worm can do a lot of work.
Hopefully you will try it for yourself and enjoy it in its own glory!
Take care and have fun sorcery buddies!
