I have been toying with various reanimator builds. Water offers valuable ways to cheat cards from your hand and deck into play, especially monsters. However, fire and air seem to have more discard synergy. A more viable strategy seems to be discarding threats to reanimate opposed to hoping to hit into them. On that note seasoned sellsword and sisters of avalon represent the most consistent discard outlets we have access to as early game creatures. Opposed to just big threats that could be dead draws this deck attempts to make use of discard even when reanimation cards aren't present. Cards like bone rabble and scourge zombies represent more immediate payoffs for discarding that can help maintain tempo and card advantage. However I don't know if we have the earth sites and mortals to benefit properly from these cards. The Hexham Haunts and Murder of Crows play a similar role of card advantage regardless of high rolls.
Currently a budget build, but it may be worth to cut as much of the fire package as possible. At least anything with two threshold or more. This reduces dead draws and increases the bone rabble viability. However the high roll with den of evil is nice. Cards like midland army may also be worth cutting. I think a reanimator deck that leverages mid game proactive minions is more consistent than hitting big bombs seldomly.
