This deck is what am I working on for SorceryCon. It seeks to hold tempo with warded minions to accrue value. The secondary game plan is to play warded sites in order to play and crack the Roots of Yggdrasil leaving your minions and sites mostly intact while wiping out your opponents sites and everything else.
Fight and strike spells are particularly lethal to our opponents, along with the Gifts of the Serpent to make one-sided fights with our opponents minions.
Collection:
Boil / Drought - The post-gothic landscape is rife with mono-water decks, so both my Toolbox and Silver Bullet should be able to pull some water minion/site hatred.
The remainder of the cards in the collection are there to provide either redundancy or an effect that is not currently in the deck but may be useful.
Maybeboard:
Returned King - I suspect to receive difficulty with the mono-water necromancer deck as it seems quite strong. I am considered putting the Returned King in to take control of all of my opponent's skeletons to swing the game.
As a full-time teacher and business owner, I do not have much time to test my decks but this is the version I have landed on for now. As I make edits, I will make text entries with reasoning as to why. I am looking forward to keeping Roots alive in the post-gothic water ruled lands.
