Hey, Necrodancer here with my Harbinger Casual Deck: "Summoning Casual"
To start off, I want to say that I am mostly a new player, and this deck is balanced around the other three precons from the Gothic precon kit. Although, I have made some major additions and upgrades to help with the fluidity of these decks, as well as making them more flavorful! If you want to see my other casual upgrades for the Gothic precons, just check my page. Without further ado, lets get into it.
The Harbinger deck is a blast to play, and really takes the flavor fun of Sorcery: Contested Realms in a cool direction. As you already probably know, before the game begins, you'll be marking three random areas on the map to use as summoning spots, that also discount your minions when you use them. Fun! The deck will mainly be focused on having ways for you to utilize these summoning spots during your game no matter where they ended up.
If your random zones end up in your opponent's territory, cards like , , and can take advantage of being deployed on top of enemy minions and avatars.
If your random zones end up near your side of the board, use it to cast value minions like , and [Abaddon Succubus] in order to set up your defense.
If your zones are concentrated in the void, you have a wide variety of high-value minions with Voidwalk that you can deploy for cheaper than usual and threaten your enemy, such as , , , and .
To supplement your minion-focused playstyle, there is a selection of Magics that reposition and disrupt the board, designed to help your minions dominate and control space. In addition, there is a transformation subtheme, using , , [Croaking Swamp], and other smaller minions in conjunction with ,, and to turn frogs and weak minions into stronger minions, giving value to your side of the board.
Summoning Casual is a midrange deck that wants to play big threats and use them to threaten and crush your enemy, but It can also play as a bit of a swarm deck, playing lots of little minions that you can use as tools to halt your enemy before you cast aforementioned big ugly monster. Ultimately, the void decides your playstyle with Harbinger.
Have fun!
