F/W/A SIA Mage
A unique 3 element threshold intensive deck with high roll potential.
The thresholds are designed primary around 3/2/1 - F/W/A respectively. Primary goal is to get to 2/2 F/W, splashing air mostly for grapple shots and toolbox goodies. The third fire covers Morgana and Immolation.
Note: Technically new threshold reqs are 3/3/1 due to the addition of plague of frogs
You're primary goal for an opening hand is two things, hit threshold and have a decent three drop.
Site placement is critical for success in more difficult games. The most important site you place is the your center forward site. What site you want there is match up dependent. If you're against aggro you want a troll bridge. If you're the aggressor whether your primary launch pad is water or land makes a big difference. The answer is that you want the opposite of whatever you're playing against. As an example if you're playing against a geomancer, you want your launch pad to be a water site because it allows you to drop threats safely to apply pressure on a site that can't have things buried on it. If you're against water you want a land site as a launch pad so your opponent can't drown minions on your own forward sites.
3 Drop & Sink'em
If on the play with the correct threshold play a sinkhole as your third site. Followed by a three drop minion, such as a cat or dragonettes. Immediately followed by blowing up the sinkhole to knock your opponent back down to one mana. On the next turn a good follow up is a grapple, a second three drop, or a swap.
Red Rover, I send my Doggie Over
If you're opening hand contains a Cerberus and a Grapple Shot, Cerberus can be forcefully moved away. Meaning an undefended avatar can take 10 damage on your turn 4, 3 if you started with a core or a P. Stone. If you're reading removal, this can be followed up by moving your battlemage forward to teleport Cerberus back safely depending on the match up.
Dragonettes + Shrink
With a spellcaster (usually your battlemage) in position to shrink a minion along with a dragonettes that can be moved into position or cast from hand into line of site unobstructed allows you to shrink and kill a minion with your dragonettes.
Sir Pelleas + Blaze
A fun interaction unique to this element combination, elevated by the current meta of water. Pelleas free movement, along with blaze's defintion allows you to blaze many many locations depending on the board. My current understanding is free movement can't repeat steps, but this still allows him to freely deal 2 to large portions of a water based board.
