Voltron Battlemage build with a pack of wolves
Wolves wolves and more wolves. Get that Crusade up and running with Slyvan Splendor right on top of it, cast wolves to your opponents backyard, draw cards, cast more wolves, draw more cards. Gift of the Wolf and draw more cards. Hamlets to cast cheap wolves (I am not sure of this ... and may remove after a couple tests. In thought-dealing this out - with no threshold I am not casting wolves any sooner, just possibly two wolves at rd 2, three wolves rd 3, etc)
Moonsong, Boudicca, Bannermen, and Rule of Thul to amp up the wolves.
Lilith to steal opponents minions
Michael ... well, he might be dropped too, we shall see
Spearmarshals to give out lances to first your Battlemage then to wolves
Draco cause its a dragon
Gargantulas just cause its fun.
Toolboxen to get to the collection for those Ordinary removal or buff spells
Voltron up the Battlemage, cast those artifacts your opponent needs to dispel whilst saving the better one for next rd.
And get all that first strike to negate as much return damage as you can.
Current status
------------------
Early iterations of this deck were getting beat but its current weakness is literally outdrawing itself. The only match its lost recently out of 6 games to friend group is when I I went up against a fire aggro deck and drew so many cards I ran out of cards - but until then the aggro deck was on its heels the entire time and I was only ever worried about exactly what happened - running out of cards. With two Sylvan Auras going and casting three or more wolves a rd I was drawing an insane amount of cards.
2.27.26: going to spend saturday battling with all the decks and switching avatar to Druid for this wolf deck to see how that goes
2.28.26: it did not go well for the wolves. against new players, just learning the game, this deck is does very well. against tightened well formed decks, it did not. lots of changes - not completely in confident in it, but still love my wolves!
3.9.29: Have morphed (in a significant way) into a voltron Battlemage with a pack of wolves deck
