This is an evolution of my Ward, Whip, Scythe deck: https://curiosa.io/decks/cmjly4vls1mhj6bfo4p2k6ssb
I removed a lot of the lethal minions and went for an airborne / charge focus.
I have included the Vampires despite them not benefitting from ward, because they are just super strong on their own and give the deck a lot of sustain. Combo with whirling blades to win.
The goal is to put wards on as many minions as possible and make your opponent trade unfavourably and give you card advantage.
Between ward and airborne, your opponent will really struggle to remove your minions. You can build up more optionality as you get more minions on board.
The double Ward on charge minions is still super strong. Pay 1 to deal the charge minions damage to an enemy unit, the Ward breaks but you then pay another 1 to Ward the charge minion again.
This deck is much more mid-range control, so I have added some bigger removal like Major Explosion and Arcane Barrage.
