This is a list of all spells that one might realistically include in the collection to cast with Malleus Maleficarum.

I did not include spells that only target minions even though technically those could hit a spellcaster minion, because the real goal here is spells that can hit the opponent's avatar or avatar's site.

WARNING: This list could be wrong. I believe I have analysed the rules correctly for all these, but it definitely complicated determing what counts for Malleus. Some uncertainties include spells like Joust or Shatterstrike where "an ally targets" - does that count as targeting an "enemy spellcaster" or is the targeting happening by the ally so it isn't the spell targeting the enemy? What if I chose myself when I cast this, then does it work? I've included these for now, but be warned that they might only work if the caster is also the ally it chooses (or might not even work at all)

7/11/2026 Update:

Started moving cards that i think might be ruled not to work into the collection. Still not sure if there is a 100% ruling, but I have heard people who go deep on rules lore assert that if the spell has an ally target (rather than the spell targetting) then it does not work for malleus even if you choose the caster as the ally who targets. Not sure if this is gospel or not yet though - but things like shatter strike, joust and duel may not work actually so moved them to the Collection of this list as maybes…. (actually pretty sure duel still works because it doesnt say the ally targets, so i believe the spell targets, the ally just does the fighting)
