A major strength of the deck is its ability to actively reposition key minions to maximize their impact on both combat and Boulder lines.
Displacement Package
[[Displace]] is one of the most important enablers in the deck. If you are unable to use AoA's ability to move a minion around this allows you to move minions into ideal locations without spending movement actions, often swinging both tempo and board control. You could even double or triple move with AoA's ability along with a or .
The following spells are especially strong when repositioned:
[[Pudge Butcher]] – Displacing the Butcher allows you to line up opposing minions into contested or vulnerable lanes increases its impact and forces awkward responses from the opponent.
[[Headless Haunt]] – Repositioning Haunts lets you repeatedly apply pressure with a 3 mana cost minion if you get a bad roll.
[[Stygian Archers]] – Displace is particularly powerful here, letting you move Archers into safe firing positions or onto key lanes without exposing them to unnecessary risk. Getting skeleton tokens is a convenient annoyance.
[[Dalcean Phalynx]] -- Huge hitter that suffers from mobility issues. This mobility is fixed between the AoA and .
[[Thunderstorm]] and enemy auras. If they get away from your thunderstorm with a blink or a war horse, just displace it back onto them.
Lord of Greed
[[Lord of Greed]] hits hard, threatening 6 damage forcing opponents to answer it quickly or risk losing both board control and key resources.
Returns [[Rolling Boulder]] to his hands at the end of your turn, enabling repeated Boulder pressure.
Can steal valuable opposing artifacts, creating major tempo and resource swings.
