The idea for this deck came from opening Meathook and Ironclad in the same Gothic pack. Basically, use movement, board control, etc. to keep the enemy avatar close to Ironclad. Darkest Dungeon, Seven League Boots, the aforementioned hookers, The Rack, Earthquake, and a few other cards are all about manipulating the grid to get the avatar close to you.
The voltron pieces are self explanatory; you want Ironclad to hit like a man clad in iron. Blade of Thorns helps with a minor life loss/gain thing I figured I'd try out. It's a powerful equipment and the amount of gain/drain in the deck theoretically keeps up. Enraged Familiar is also a solid threat when you can guarantee damage life loss every turn.
Ersatz Platz and the collection package are symptoms of running such a greedy deck. The threshold requirements are the biggest weakness here (besides potentially killing your self). I could maybe cut water eventually, but I want reps with the Polar Explorers/Ruler of Thul as a way to get close to their avatar.
Very open to suggestions. And yes, this deck would probably be more consistent with Battlemage. Sadly Sorcery doesn't have an exhaust mechanic for Ironclad to delete all his cards. I'm also working on a defensive version of Ironclad, which will probably be better suited to Ironcald's strengths.
