Your goal: Get your opponent's avatar closer using various hook / drag effects and go to town.
If that turns out to be tricky, just bring the fight to them by connecting the opposite edges of the realm or taking advantage of extra movement.
If you got a trigger or two off your Avatar and the board state allows for it, draw & play a site next turn. You'll quickly push to 6 or even more mana, allowing you to double spell consistently. Drawing many spells early on is nice, but keep in mind that you are drawing for card selection in that case. If you don't need it, go for sites and push ahead on curve.
If you see one of the hard counters, such as , , , , , ... shift your game plan to a standard Steam aggro-y midrange plan. If they spend their defensive tech on their home site, just go for regular site damage.
Hear me out on : Worst case, just play it as a vanilla fire site. But it's wonderful with , because you return a site you OWN. Additional targets include shifting a out of a silence effect or another chance at .

Speaking of , the main idea is to push your minions with Charge one step forward off the River so they can directly attack their avatar. Pushing into feels great, too.
Considerations:
* I reaaally want to play , but it's a dead card if they don't have an artifact. I feel like in the long run, people will not just play out artifacts unless they immediately gain value from them. Considered a package but that makes the collection much weaker I think.
* Currently testing the exclusion of etc. seems very strong due to many new strong sites with Gothic. It also helps against the Omphalos.
Update: Decided to include the tri-sites to be a little greedier with threshold.
Notes on Collection
