Dang its been a while since I worked on the deck. I've been chatting with other Waveshaper players about tech and what the deck looks like in the post "Heirloom Lost / Mirage" world. Silver Bullet is gone for Meat Hook. There has been a lot of buzz about that card in the Waveshaper circle and I'm excited to try it. Same is true for Giant Shark. It's one of the original cards that made me obsessed with water in this game. The Sharks just dominate the body of water until answered, helping vs minion strategies, and pairs insanely well with Meat Hook. They're replacing Gloam Toads who had been feeling extra clunky recently. I've cleaned up the land base too to make it less susceptible to Heirloom Lost / Mirage.
Guile Sirens and Lacuna Entity are on notice. I love Lacuna Entity, but he might be redundant with the Giant Sharks.

Played a handful of games against Savior. The matchup feels totally fine. I did lose one game to a clunky hand and them drawing the nuts, but I won the rest without much issue.

6-2 at SorceryCon, and top Waveshaper. Going into the event I thought the deck would be competent, but it actually felt extremely good. The only decks I lost to all weekend between side events, the main event, and testing, were mono fire Pathfinder decks and a fire Sorcerer. Doing the math it works out to a 60% win rate which I'm very happy with. I don't think its worth trying too hard to make major adjustments for the bad fire match up. You can definitely still win those games and I'm not trying to over correct.
I'll add more to this primer when I get time. I've got thoughts. For now, check out @Zenatheshadow's Drown in the Deep primer. Its very in depth (unintentional joke) and expresses how I feel about the deck archetype.
