(Note: Deck is currently at 61 cards to playtest Displace. Could be useful, but likely will be cut. FYI.)
This deck is similar to a normal AoA deck. Boulders, trinkets, airborne minions, etc. The first version of this AoA deck splashing fire was less of a splash and more of a split. It worked well, but the 2 and 3 fire threshold spells were a problem at times. This new version has only 1 fire threshold spells, which allows for the majority of sites to remain air. I haven't had any threshold issues playing it.
Essential fire spells include Infiltrates, Poison Novas (a 3rd might be necessary), Quarrelsome kobolds, Corruptor Freaks, Shackled Demons, and Sir Lamorak.
New air additions from Gothic include: Legion of Gall, Bladderblimp, Gibbous Nightgaunts, and Sphere of Animosity. Wuthering Heights is amazing for this deck. Manor is good, but players tend to just avoid it. Twilight Bloom is nice for getting fire threshold but keeping the site air. Fields of Phyxis is nice for deactivating pesky Troll Bridges.
The goal of the deck is to finish the game early, having several minions that can do damage the turn the come out (Kobolds and Freaks), difficult to kill airborne minions, and those that have great value and abilities. For example, if you fly Bladderblimp to opponents side of the board the turn it comes out, even if they kill it right away, they will likely take 4-6 damage!). Skirmishers basically have doublestrike.
Legion of Gall is awesome to remove key answers from opponent's Collection.
