With the addition of Gothic and the avatar, the deck now leans much more heavily into the undead strategy while still preserving the mortal core and Werewolf/Banshee line. Now, however, skeleton tokens are easy to come by through your avatar's ability, , and the . In addition to the Scourge Zombies, also joins the deck as a cheap undead that can bring itself back as a repeated nuisance, and has the potential to summon Ghouls repeatedly through recurring its effect with Lady Iseult. These are all supported through cards such as , which functions as a second Bannerman for undead, , which can push extra damage and prime a location for even more of a push, and the sites and , providing more selektons and a movement bonus for them, respectively.
