An archimago combo deck.
Control archimago is on the rise with all his healing. That puts burst damage at a premium. The gameplan here to play a midrange style early game, trading one for one and trying to keep one of your double strikers alive, then double cast your buffs in the mid to late game to burst them down. Overpower, gigantism, critical strike and warp spasm all do explosive damage when combined or double cast.
Double strikers
The best buff carriers are those that can double strike - kobolds, skirmishers & lamorak (if he dies in the fight). The next best thing is any unit with stealth, as it gives you time to keep that unit on board while you assemble buffs, and makes the strike unblockable. Treetop hideout, morgana, and infiltrate fill that role.
Buffs & doublers
Buff spells like overpower synergise especially well with units who strike multiple times, letting you get two strikes in with the increased power. Combining that with archimagos ability to immediately recast them, you can get a huge burst out of nowhere by quadrupling the effect of your buff.
The same thing applies with power doublers like critical strike and warp spasm, except instead of getting 4x the buff effect, you get 4x the units power.
Strategy
The most efficient burst damage comes from skirmisher with any buff. If you find a treetop hideout and set up a skirmisher with stealth and you’re not under too much pressure, you’ve already won.
