Typical midrange deck. Very versatile. Can provide early pressure with Bosk trolls, Autumn unicorn, Dalcean Phalanx and Gyre Hippogriffs. Sometimes a turn 3 pudge butcher surprises your opponents and grabs the avatar by the balls.
But most of the times you just want the game to go where you draw two cards per turn and your opponents only one utilising Sorcerer's draw ability. Many defence to stall the game to just that point where you take over the game. Land surveyor as blocking beef (and land draw), Root spider and pebbled paths to stop overly aggressive decks. Crown Prince and Lady Iseult produce 'forever' returning blockers and the Vampires and Sir Galahad can get you back in safe range if you took too much damage early on.
The Stone-gaze gorgons are just plain wonderful creatures to play. The puzzled looks on the faces of your opponent when they try to figure out how to outplay your Stone-gaze Gorgons alone are enough reason to play these fella's.
Ideal finishers are the Pudge Butchers. Position them well and carefully and use grapple shot to do a whole lot of damage at once or to simply move them in range of your opponents avatar.
Use Sinkholes, Rift Valleys and Earthquakes to rearrange the board in the way you want it to be (we don't like perilous bridges or impenetrable corpses in front of our armies, nor do we like massive bodies of water ;-).
Overall just a very fun deck to play that has multiple ways to victory!
