Immortal Throne might seem like a Seer card, but Deathspeaker is so well suited to jam through those triggers at any stage of the game using whatever has hit either cemetery. Boneyard even helps us hit an extra counter which is wonderful, and not to mention how much you can get done if you are on DD.
Any Throne deck needs to stand on its own legs if it never sees the actual Throne, and thats another reason why DS is the logical choice: The value train of just playing Imps and and Widows and Wanderers and Titans multiple times is wonderful, and we pack a constant threat of dropping a sphere+jinn combo (considering grandmaster wizard, still tbd) We have a tremendous amount of early aggression by popping a mix to get something big going, and then frustrating recursion by using scavenging fiends to bring back our mixes to do it all over again. We can bury or steal their best minion, and use a flame wave to end the game.
Our avatar does end up sitting in place tapping for lands quite a bit and not really getting very mobile, so it's important that wekeep minions in front of us to prevent pudge and grapple problems, while using bedrocks as deployment platforms. Roots package is a must in case we fall behind, but not a main avenue or strategy for this deck.
Dont sleep on the throne! Live the dream and see how Throne Speaker works for you!
