Dear Peggy and Steve,
The gals and I have finally finished plans for our next gathering!! We decided summer is best since we have a break between sports for the kids and we're done with the PTA. We sure hope to see you there, everyone loved your macaroni salad last year!!
We're going to meet at Sunny Vale beach on the northeast side by the light house. The area has lots of hills, ponds, and streams teaming with wildlife so bring the kiddos. We have all sorts of games and fun activities for them as well. Be sure to bring the sleeping bags and tents because we're staying for the night!
We'll set up the potluck around 3pm and, I hate to be a bother but please bring that salad! Maybe this time you'll share the recipe?? :) Marsha is going to make her famous scotcheroos, which are just to die for, so you just have to show up!
At night once we're done passing out the s'mores and get the young ones settled in we'll head up to the lighthouse for cocktails and a fire! Bob and Nancy are bringing their books up so we can have a little fun under the stars. We haven't decided on something from the sea or maybe bringing back Virgil so he can have fun too (although last year, if you remember, Virgil ended up chasing Judy around trying to get up her robe. What a scandal!!!!). I suppose I don't care what kind of trouble we get into just as long as the wine doesn't run out ! :)
It'll be such a hoot to get the gang together again! I'm afraid Sally and Tom will probably not make it. I heard from Betty that they're having a devil of a time finding sitters these days and, get this, their daughter Hayley has a shell fish allergy so......well you know......
See you soon!
Carole
=======================
Sorcerer or Seer: Nancy is great at leading the ceremonies, but Bob is fantastic too. Ohhhh don't make me pick! (currently prefer sorcerer for the draw).
Lord of the void is being tested. The 3 air threshold is a concern. He's such a stick in the mud!
Browse was removed due to the above. Might go back in after I've tracked my air threshold for a few games.
Orb is not safe from being cut at some point. However I stubbornly refuse to trade in my orb to get new hockey equipment for the kids until I've summoned 14 frogs. Won't that be a hoot! Better now with grim reaper casting lighting bolts.
Flying pests are just such a bother! Betty has a spell to change them into frogs and Brad knows how to send them away on a violent cyclone. If you have any tomes that describe a way to be rid of them please feel free to suggest.
Mountain passes might evolve into Observatories. They're more fun to have a glass of wine and relax in.
Toodles!

Post Script:
Just a fun deck to play.
Waiting for a day when I have better mana dumps then vril and diluvian.
It's possible 2 abundance is too much but no feelings on that yet.
Deck is on the cusp of deserving +1 large mana dumps. If you added +1 that isn't horrible. I would prefer a minion to another wrath.
Current mana generation record is 24
Fun things I've done so far:
I have summoned 14 frogs.
I've drawn 10 cards in a turn.
I have twisted someone from 20 to 0 and then won.
I have hit someone with old daddy for 32 in a turn.
I have banished 3 (Maybe it was 4) different minions types from a persons deck via grim+bolt+standing Stones.
You'll have fun too.
If you wanted to cut 2 cards I couldn't tell you which ones at this stage.
