3.2 (AL) The main bulk of this primer is stupid crazy old. Originally, I built this with a bunch of Wheel of Time flavor, but I'm currently opting for a more competitively viable strategy for a deck type that, sadly, just isn't quite meta. Wolves can still be SO CRAZY GOOD despite not being "meta". And this current iteration is NOT unique. It is very, VERY similar to our resident Wolf Master's (2Fluent). I changed up a lot of what I was going for to be a little bit more in line with some of the strategies he employs in his E/A "Legendary Wolves" deck 2Fluents Legendary Wolves | by @2Fluent.. Most of the differences are minor and due to my LGS's current meta (Shield Maidens being a great example).

2.1 (Beta) Added more wolves. Working on sites (I'm missing some still due to other decks I've built). Waiting for some final singles to show up in the mail (Manuscript and Agartha).

(Alpha/Beta) If you know, you know. Perrin Aybara is my favorite character from The Wheel of Time, which I am in the middle of listening to right now. He has the strange power to communicate with wolves and, after discovering this power, his eyes have changed to yellow wolf eyes. He is my inspiration for wanting to get this deck together.

After opening a box of Alpha and four boxes of Beta I have 17 Grey Wolves so I'm starting there; however, I expect I will be adding more to the deck. The average number of Grey Wolves I'm seeing in other decks appears to be between 19 and 22. The goal of the deck is pretty simple. Amass a pack of wolves and bring them down hard and swift on the opponent. Possibly even knocking them down to Death's Door after just one blow from the pack.

Some of the cards I've included might not be in your average Grey Wolves deck simply because of flavor (such as Vaults of Zul and Planar Gate). There are other cards I'm considering such as Queen of Midland for some additional draw but would also be flavorful. This is just my version 1.0 so feel free to leave comments on things you think I could improve or other WOT references you think I could include.
