Sorcery Events System - Store Acceptance Policy
Background
In-person play is at the very heart of Sorcery, and as players graduate from kitchen tables to community-based gaming, the humble Local Games Store (LGS) becomes the heart of that community. To protect this play space, we require all Stores in the Sorcery Events System to be a Verified Location.
Verified Location requirements
To be accepted as a Verified Location in the Sorcery Events System, and therefore have Events run in the Store eligible for Dust, the Store must be:
- A verifiable retail location. Methods used to verify could include, but will not be limited to:
- Google Maps searches of the provided address.
- Checks on websites.
- Checks on social media accounts (Meta, Google).
- Contain a space suitable for in-person play for at least 8 people.
- Accessible by anyone who wishes to play, without discrimination.
Store access and benefits
Stores who become part of the Sorcery Events System will have access to:
- Promotional Materials, such as Store Kits.
- Access to Sorcery products via Team Covenant Fulfilled (where applicable).
- The ability to award Dust to players via in-person events run in-store (Online events do not qualify for this).
Denial or removal
Erik's Curiosa reserves the right, at any time, to deny entry to or remove a location from the Sorcery Events System if we believe that:
- There is abuse of the Promotional Materials Policy.
- The Store moves to or is found to be in a non-verifiable location.
- We receive complaints of discriminatory or illegal activity, and these complaints can be upheld or proven.
- Notwithstanding any of the above, we reserve the ongoing right to refusal at any time.
